PURPOSE:To copy a required range only by updating the counting value of a paper feeding counter at every main scanning. CONSTITUTION:A read length setting circuit 100 to set a copy desired range freely is provided to a paper feeding DCNT. In desiring only the desired range, a copy size switch 8 sets the desired range of paper feeding direction to a read length setting 100 and the copy switch 7 is depressed to attain only the desired range to be copied.
