MEASUREMENT DATA COLLECTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain a device which is easy to operate and advantageous in cost by providing a data collection unit which collects shape information on an object of measurement as measurement data and a setting unit which is connected optionally to the data collection unit and transmits setting contents. CONSTITUTION:The measurement data collecting device is equipped with the data collection unit 48-1 which is connectable to length measurement units 44-1-44-M outputting the shape information on the object 42 of measurement and collects their information as measurement data and the setting unit 60 which is connected optionally to the data collection unit 48-1 and transmits setting contents. Then, the setting unit 60 is equipped with a keyboard for setting measurement conditions and a memory stored with the setting contents and connected to the data collection unit 48-1 through a dedicated unit 32. Further, the data collection unit 48 is connectable to a host computer 30 for the centralized processing of the measurement data through a dedicated interface 32.
