PURPOSE:To improve the reliability by connecting 1st, 2nd and 3rd CMOS inverters in series and constituting the oscillation circuit by the capacitors, 1st and 2nd resistors so as to prevent latchup. CONSTITUTION:The input voltage of the 1st inverter I1 changes gradually due to the discharge current through resistors R1, R2. Then the voltage is decreased gradually after the elapsed time from a time t1 and reaches the input threshold voltage or below of the inverter I1 at a time t2. Then the voltage changes gradually through the charge current by the 1st and 2nd resistors R1, R2. Then the voltage rises gradually after the elapsed time from the time t2, the voltage at a time t3 is the same as that at a time t1, the voltage repeats the same operation after the time t1 and the oscillation is continued. Thus, the input voltage of the CMOS inverter is kept to zero or over and below the power voltage Vcc in any moment by connecting the 1st and 2nd resistors R1, R2.
