PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of water in couplers even at great depth and even under deep water by a method in which an uneven end face is formed for the concrete wall of preceding element, and the concrete wall of following element is placed to be joined to the uneven end of the preceding element. CONSTITUTION:An underground continuous wall W consists of the concrete walls 1 of preceding elements and the concrete wall 2 of following element positioned between the preceding elements. The joint face C of the underground continuous wall W is formed by coupling projections 1b and fitting groove 2b formed on the end faces of the concrete walls 1 and 2 of both the preceding and following elements.
