PURPOSE:To reduce the burden of a tracking actuator by starting a track jump moving action just after rewriting the stored contents in a video memory with at least one field of video information. CONSTITUTION:When a scan command is issued, a video signals written in a RAM 33 are selectively outputted from a switching switch 30 and a forced feed command signal (b) is transmitted so as to drive a slider 9 by force. When a tracking open command signal (a) is outputted, a light spot for detecting information moves with jumping the tracks of a disk 2. After that, when a write is completed the signal (a) is outputted again so as to start the track jump moving action of the light spot for information detection. Thus, the time for continuing playing actions is shortened and the deviation quantity of the tracking actuator is made small, so that the burden of the actuactor is reduced and the fault can be prevented.
