摘要 PURPOSE:To produce a resin in high production efficiency by making it possible to use small dehydration tanks and a small discharge conveyor and by decreasing loss of resin due to gelation, by dispensing a resin condensate among a plurality of dehydration tanks and dehydrating each of the dispensed portions at intervals. CONSTITUTION:Materials for a resin are fed to a condensation tank 1 and reacted, and the resin condensate obtained in the reaction is first stored in a storage tank. This condensate is dispensed in substantially equal portions among a plurality of dehydration tanks. Dehydration in a small portion is performed by varying the starting times of dehydration in dehydration tanks 2, and the dehydrated resin portions are withdrawn in turn and discharged on a conveyor 3. In this way, a small dehydration tank can be used and the rate of operation of the discharge conveyor can be increased, which eliminates a need of using a conveyor of a high capacity. Even if gelation of the resin occurs in any of the dehydration tanks, only a portion of the resin becomes a reject, so that the loss rate is small. By performing feeding and discharge in turn, the production efficiency of the resin can be improved, small-quantity production becomes possible, and a high-softening point resin can be produced in good efficiency.
