PURPOSE:To execute picture recording and reproducing according to the circumstances of the classification etc., of a program which is the object of picture recording by providing a time set means which variably sets a reproducing time just after picture recording. CONSTITUTION:The time set means 8 is constituted with a variable resistor 6 and an A/D conversion circuit 7. When a button reading circuit 2 detects that a picture recording button 1 is pushed and a micro computer 3 recognizes it, a picture recording circuit 4 is made to actuate so as to record a video at that time as a still picture in terms of picture recording. When picture recording is completed, the micro computer 3 drives a reproducing circuit 5 so as to automatically reproduce one track of recorded video. At this time an internal timer incorporating the computer 3 also starts. And the computer 3 reads a voltage value set in the variable resistor 6 with the A/D conversion circuit 7 and calculates an occasional reproducing time, then it stops reproducing actions when the value of the timer reaches the calculated reproducing time.
