PURPOSE:To use communication network efficiently by processing a synchronizing data packet and an asynchronizing data packet sent from each terminal station with distinction to prevent collision of data packets. CONSTITUTION:One frame is divided into a synchronizing data area and an asynchronizing data area. The synchronizing data area applies polling to a synchronizing reception memory 321 in the predetermined sequence, reads the data packet stored therein and sent. In a central station, each terminal station is provided with the synchronizing reception memory 321 and the asynchronizing reception memory 322 and only a specific terminal station is allowed to send a synchronizing data to the memory 321. The other terminal station uses only the asynchronizing reception memory 322. Thus, the hybrid exchange network is realized.
