PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for adjusting the concn. of a plating liquid in a plating tank and to improve productivity by providing a device for maintaining the concn. of the plating liquid to a storage tank so that the concn. of the iron ions in the plating liquid can be adjusted while the liquid is held stored in the tank. CONSTITUTION:This device for maintaining and controlling the concn. of the iron electroplating liquid and storing said liquid is formed of the storage tank, instrument for measuring the concn. of the plating liquid, device for removing iron ions. device for preparing a bath, and plating cell which are respectively communicated with each other. The storage tank has a piping for supplying an inert gas so that the oxidation of the bivalent iron ions to trivalent iron ions is prevented. The device for removing iron ions and device for preparing the bath are actuated by the measured value of the instrument for measuring the concn. installed to said tank.
