摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a control device for an engine which relieves torque shock and prevents production of uneasy sensation, by providing a simultaneous variation preventing means which prevents simultaneous occurrence of variation of an air-fuel ratio and variation of feedback control of exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:An ECU 8 calculates the width of a fundamental fuel injection pulse by means of various detecting signals from a number of revolutions meter 3, an airflow meter 1, etc., corrects a fundamental injection amount by means of a feedback correction value available when an air-fuel ratio is in a feedback zone, and outputs the pulse width to an injector 2. When an air-fuel ratio is low, an EGR solenoid valve 6 is brought into an ON-state, feedback is made on exhaust gas. When the air-fuel ratio is in a feedback delay zone, i.e. during acceleration or high load running, the number of counting times by a counter B is increased over that by a counter A to vary a feedback correction value to an enrich correction value. The EGR valve solenoid is brought into an OFF- state in delay to cut feedback of exhaust gas. Thus, simultaneous variation of an air-fuel ratio and EGR control is prevented from occurring.
