PURPOSE:To reduce the number of communication codes and to decrease a communication time by converting a graph decided by sampling points into a communication code and sending the code. CONSTITUTION:A microprocessor 2 applying major processing is connected to a coordinate input device 1 via a coordinate detection section 3, the inputted coordinate is stored in a RAM 5 and stored in a transmission/reception buffer in the RAM 5 by a program for communication coding or the like prepared in the ROM 4. An information demultiplexing code 12 and a command 13 are set, and then a start point X coordinate, a Y coordinate, a zone code, an end point X coordinate and a Y coordinate are set. Moreover, an enc code and an information demultiplex code are set, the communication code is finished and the communication coding is applied by 9-byte. Thus, the start and end points of the sampling points of hand-written input have only to be subject to communication coding and 7 bytes are saved more than that by a conventional device.
