The briquetting press has a machine frame (10) in which the two counter-rotating rolls (11,12) are seated. The two rolls are driven from two slip-on reducing gears (14,15), the input shafts of which carry bevel gears meshing with bevel gears (16,17) on a joined shaft (19) with extended end fitted with V-belt pulley (18) driven by single electric motor (13).
