PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to execute a complicated maintenance work, and to prevent a developer from being mixed into a bearing, by sealing magnetically a bearing part of a device against the developer. CONSTITUTION:A first magnetic member, namely, ring-shaped soft magnetic material plate 21 is installed so as to come into contact with a side face 10A of a rotary member 10 opposed to a developer containing part side wall 14. The soft magnetic material plate 21 is installed by passing through a revolving shaft 12. Also, on the side wall 14, a ring-shaped magnet 22 being a second magnetic member is installed so as to be opposed to the soft magnetic material plate 21, in a state that is does not come into contact with the revolving shaft 12, in the inside from a bearing 11 for supporting the revolving shaft 12. In such a way, between the soft magnetic materials plate 21 being the first magnetic member, and the magnet 22 being the second magnetic member, a ring- shaped magnetic field is formed. Also, by the ring-shaped magnetic field, a magnetic brush is formed in a developer contained in the side wall, and by this magnetic brush, it is prevented that the developer 23 invades the direction of the bearing 11.
