PURPOSE:To decrease an error in channel selection by using a voice so as to guide a corresponding station name synchronously with the sequential scanning of stations stored in advance. CONSTITUTION:The number (station C) of a station to be read at first is set and a station number counter is set to a corresponding content (C). Succeedingly, a channel selection data corresponding to the station C is read from the channel selection memory 2 and stored tentatively in an output register in a microcomputer 1. Then the microcomputer 1 controls a voice synthesis circuit 4 to read the voice data corresponding to the station C from the voice memory 5 and the voice guide is applied by a speaker 7.
