The present invention relates to a device for slowing down vehicles with tyres, of the "retractable spiked barrier" type, provided with spikes 4 which can move relative to a base 1 provided with inclined walls 2 which are used to bring the tyres onto an upper plane part 3 provided with slots, the said system furthermore comprises a member 18 extending over the whole length of the ramp and provided with means for actuating by means of an outside key through an orifice provided on the edge of the ramp, and provided with parts intended to come to bear on the spikes 4 in order to bring them into the retracted position against their return means. A member for locking with a key 7 is provided to bring them into such a position. The device moreover comprises reflectors 5 laid out on the ramps 2 and handles for transport, as well as orifices 8 for fixing it. <IMAGE> |
