PURPOSE:To easily adjust an optical axis by providing an optical axis aligning mechanism and a reference marker on an optical convergent lens array, in the optical convergent lens array receiving a light beam emitted from a light emitting element array. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting element array 1 is attached to a substrate 6 and a frame 5. A flange 25 is attached to a horizontal wall 51 of the lower part of its frame 5, a groove 23 is formed in the flange 25, an optical convergent lens array 2 is installed in its groove 23, and an optical axis is adjusted by an optical axis aligning mechanism 21. The optical axis aligning mechanism 21 adjusts an optical axis in the vertical direction of the lens array 2 by allowing the flange 25 to be movable up and down by an adjusting screw 24, and also, adjusts the optical axis by allowing said flange to be movable in the horizontal direction by a spring 31 and an adjusting screw 32. Also, on both ends of the lens array 2, a reference marker is provided, and the lens array 2 and the center line of the light emitting element array 1 are allowed to coincide with each other. In this state, a light beam from the array 2 is radiated and written to a photosensitive body. Accordingly, since the optical axis aligning mechanism and the reference marker are provided, the optical convergent lens array can be easily adjusted with high accuracy.
