PURPOSE:To eliminate a thickly coated part and reduce drying load by extending a thickly coated part to be formed on both edges of a coated layer through a decompression nozzle before the coating layer loss fluidity. CONSTITUTION:A thickly coated part 3 is formed on the edge of a coating layer 2 applied on a support 1 which runs continuously. Then a decompression nozzle 4 is positioned on the uncoated part at the edge of the support 1 which is located a few millimeters outward from the thickly coated part 3. After this, the decompression nozzle 4 is placed under 'decompressed state'. By means of the action of the decompression nozzle 4, the thickly coated part 3 is extended outwardly and subsequently becomes the same as or less than the thickness of a normally coated part of a coating layer 2.
