PURPOSE:To perform fit of an upper and a lower cylinder with a fitting force below a specified value by furnishing an X-Y table, which has a spherical surface located at a hand base, and a theta-base which is capable of inclined revolution along the spherical surface. CONSTITUTION:Strain gages 90, 91, 92, 93 to sense the pressurization force are sticked to the undersurfaces of push pins 94, 95, 96, 97. An X-Y table 21 whose central part forms a spherical surface 24 bulging upwards is installed to the lower parts of those tow of four shafts of a hand base 4 which form straight line. The X-Y table 21 is supported in the hand base 4 with mobility in the horizontal direction through balls 20. A hole is provided in the center of said spherical surface of X-Y table 21. A theta-base 27 is provided, which passes through this hole and is made in the form to widen in the condition as pinching the spherical surface 24 through the balls 26 from above and below. A chuck 31 is installed at the undersurface of the theta-base 27.
