PURPOSE:To perform both hot and cold cuttings on one cooling bed by installing a hot cutting device in a position being out of a cooling bed of a transfer line and also installing a cold cutting device in a position being out of a bed of a runout table. CONSTITUTION:A line table 1 for bar-shaped transferred stocks such as rolled steel bars and a runout table 3 are installed on the inlet and outlet sides of a cooling bed 2, respectively. An installed transfer line 11 for hot cut bar-shaped transferred stocks begins from an inside bed position near to the inlet of the bed 2, transverses the bed 2, and has an extension part 8 being parallel to the line table 1 and runout table 3. A hot cutting device 9 together with a sizing machine 10 are installed on the part 8 of the line 11; a sizing machine 5 and a cold cutting device 4 are also installed in a position being out of the cooling bed 2 of the runout table 3. Thus, both hot and cold cuttings are easily performed.
