The invention relates to a swimming blade or flipper for the hands, comprising a substantially plane and rigid plate 2 covering the palm of the hand. According to the invention, the plate 2 is integral with a flexible membrane 3 covering it, being fixed to it in the vicinity of its periphery except over the portion 6 located at the level of the wrist, enabling the hand to be inserted.
