The present invention relates to a device for hanging particularly video tape boxes. The device is characterised in that it comprises an element 3 for supporting at least one video tape box 1 and a rod-shaped hanging element 6 attached at one of its ends to the upper part of the tape box, the other end of the hanging rod 6 ending in a spherical part 6a which can turn in a hollow housing of a component 9 for fastening the hanging rod 6 to the support element 3.
