The invention relates to a device making it possible to remove static electricity contained in the human body, by using a watch strap. It consists of a watch strap composed of two branches 2 and 3, fitted to a watch 1. A quick release fastener 4, of the press type, allows static electricity to be removed from the human body to an independent earth through an earthing wire 6 connected by the connector 5 to the fastener 4 of the watch strap, and connected to the independent earth by a plug 7. The device according to the invention is in particular intended for removing static electricity from the human body, under the best possible conditions of comfort for the user, when handling electronic circuits which are sensitive to the effects of static electricity. <IMAGE>
