PURPOSE:To attain the complete interlocking of a video signal and a key signal and to obtain special effect by processing the video signal and the key signal corresponding to the video signal with a digital special effect circuit. CONSTITUTION:A video signal and a key signal outputted from a super processor 1, a chroma key generator 2 and a waveform generating device 3 are inputted respectively to a video signal changing-over device 4 and a key signal changing-over device 5 and a corresponding video signal and a key signal are selected. A cancelling video signal is inputted to a digital video signal special effect circuit 6 and the size and position are converted by the control of a memory control circuit 7. On the other hand, the key signal is inputted to a digital key signal special effect circuit 8, the size and position of the key signal are converted by the same control as the video signal and the output is executed.
