Manufacture of a pastry horn from a pancake mixture which sets upon cooking. According to the invention: a) the fluid mix is placed on a heating plate 3 so that it spreads out to form a disc P; b) it is covered with a second heating plate 2; c) it is cooked between the two plates 2-3 allowing it to inflate, at least partially, which makes it possible to obtain a pancake c; d) the second heating plate 2 is removed; e) the hot and still soft pancake C is wound onto a conical mandrel (former) 6 so as to form a horn C'; f) the mandrel (former) 6 is removed. Manufacture and direct supply to the customers of pastry horns intended to receive cream, ice-cream, fruit, etc. <IMAGE>
