A clamping mechanism consisting of a clamping plate with a bearing block and a clamping piece held pivotably therein has the disadvantage that, in the case of incorrect treatment, the clamping piece can be pulled out of the bearing block. The clamping mechanism thus becomes unusable. In order to eliminate this disadvantage, it is proposed to design the clamping piece of lyrate construction with outwardly bent limbs. <IMAGE>
