PURPOSE:To directly connect a terminal equipment to a host computer not via a terminal control equipment by connecting a storage medium to the host computer and permitting it to execute loading a program. CONSTITUTION:When a required program name is inputted to a program name input means 1 in the terminal equipment 9, information necessary to load a program is outputted as a program load request signal to the host computer 8 through a request signal generation means 2. A program read means 3 receives and analyzes the program load request signal. As a result, a required program is read out of a secondary storage medium in the host computer 8. The read-out required program is transmitted to the terminal equipment 9 that has requested loading the program through a program transmission means 4. The transmitted program is accepted by a program activation means 5, which activates the program.
