A plastic scaffolding board having longitudinally oriented fibre reinforcement is to be configured such that, while ensuring cost-effective manufacture, it has a high strength and low weight. This is achieved in that the scaffolding board is formed by a square hollow extruded section (1) which is formed by continuously drawing plastic-wetted fibres (3) and/or strands through a mould (13), exhibiting a moulding opening (12), with hardening. <IMAGE>
