Directional piston valve, in particular according to one or more of the preceding claims, having a piston in which at least one seal is arranged, specifically adjacent to a piston land having a width. Furthermore, the piston can be displaced in the housing with respect to the control bores, and the control bores together have a width. The valve is characterised in that the width of the annular land is greater than, but at most equal to the width of the bores.
