PURPOSE:To obtain the titled insecticide, constantly floating on the surface of night soil in a night soil reservoir, having excellent insecticidal effect and capable of keeping the insecticidal effect till the next dipping up by single scattering operation, by adsorbing or attaching an insecticide to a number of buoyant particles. CONSTITUTION:A number of buoyant particles 3 are produced by crushing foamed polystyrene, etc., available as an industrial waste with a crusher to particles of about 5mm in diameter. An insecticide 4 is dissolved in water and the solution is added to the particles and stirred by a mixer to obtain the objective insecticide A. Maggots and flies can be almost completely exterminated without necessitating frequency scattering operations. Since the insecticide is effective at a necessary minimum amount, the following sewage treatment and environmental pollution problems can be remarkably decreased. The evaporation of the night soil is suppressed, the emission of foul smell is prevented and the appearance of the night soil is improved because the night soil in the night soil reservoir is shielded from the outer atmosphere. Furthermore, the splashing of night soil can be prevented by the cushioning action of the buoyant particles.
