PURPOSE:To minimize the generation frequency of an input error and to execute rapidly an input work by executing the input of a general purpose register name with the key input of the shift key and the figure key of a figure corresponding to the general purpose register name. When the key input is not the shift key, at this time, it is judged whether the displaying of the symbol 'SHIFT' is on or off, and at the time of off, the displaying or corresponded processing of the contents of the input key is executed. On the other hand, when the displaying of the symbol 'SHIFT' is on, it is judged which the key input is out of '0', '1',...,'4' and the general purpose register name corresponding to the figure of the key input is displayed. The inputted general purpose register name is written into a RAM 3 by the control of a CPU 1.
