PURPOSE:To generate a high-definition pattern by holding results obtained by geometrically transforming the inflection point string of a given pattern contour by actual coordinate values and generating a straight line in an integer space based on the actual coordinate value of the inflection points while maintaining the inclination of the straight line in the space. CONSTITUTION:An inflection point string accumulaltion means 1 accumulates the inflection point string obtained by making the contour of the given dot pattern into vectors. A geometrically calculating means 2 applies geometric actual number operations such as an enlargement and reduction to the inflection point string (inflection point coordinate values) of one pattern, which is read out of the means 1, and outputs the operation results as actual numbers. An arithmetic result holding means 3 holds the geometric operation results of the inflection points by actual numbers, and a straight line generation means 4 generates a straight line in the integer space based on the actual values while maintaining the inclination in that space as much as possible. Thus the means 4 can generate a high-definition geometric transformation pattern in less deteriorated shape. |
