The invention concerns a bearing arrangement of a displacer that performs a rotating translational motion about an eccentric path in the displacement chamber of a positive-displacement machine; it lies sandwiched between two side walls, covering it on both sides, of the casing of the displacement chamber. In particular for displacement machines designed for low rates of flow, a magnetic aligning device is proposed, comprising one or more permanent magnets fastened to the displacer, for each of which a stationary homopolar permanent magnet is arranged in the casing walls mentioned so that the mutually repulsive force acting between the permanent magnets facing one another forces the nonmagnetically constructed displacer onto the largest possible eccentric path within the also nonmagnetically constructed displacement chamber.
