PURPOSE:To facilitate describing of a precise figure or a graph, by employing five types of rectangular dots respectively composed of several triangular or rectangular printing elements independently or in combination. CONSTITUTION:There are five types of basic dots A, B, C, D and E for a print head. Type A is composed of four rectangular printing elements while type B is composed of four triangular printing elements. Type C is composed of four triangular printing elements and a single rectangular printing element. Type D is composed of six triangular printing elements and a single rectangular printing element. Type E is obtained by rotating type D by 90 deg., and composed of six triangular printing elements and a single rectangular printing element. Any of said five types of dots are arranged in the print head, and five types of dots are used independently or in combination so as to enable description of lines of about 30 deg., 45 deg., 60 deg., 90 deg.. Since printing elements compose a dot in pin shape or as heating elements, they can be arranged in any type of printers and provide a highly accurate print. |
