PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent magnetic shield effect by a method wherein a core, a coil wound around the core, and the resin material, containing the specific quantity of ferrite powder, which is molded on the circumference of the core and the coil, are provided on the title coil element. CONSTITUTION:A coil 2 is wound around a coil 1. Terminals 3 and 4 are fixed to the lower surface of the coil 1, and the terminals are electrically connected to the coil 2. On the other band, thermosetting type systhetic resin 5 is molded on the circumference of the coils 1 and 2. Ferrite powder of 75-90 wt. % is contained in the thermosetting type resin 5. The thermosetting resin having excellent heatresisting property and low melting viscosity is used as the thermosetting type synthetic resin taking into consideration of the fixture to a substrate by soldering and the like. The thermosetting resin having the melting viscosity of 5000 cps or less at 150 deg.C is selected as a suitable material. Pertaining to the ferrite powder, one having several tens mum or thereabout is used, but the ferrite powder of the diameter smaller than the above is used taking into consideration of the moldability of the powder. As the ferrite powder is contained in the above-mentioned thermosetting type synthetic resin 5 at a high rate of 75-90 wt. %, the synthetic resin has excellent magnetic shielding characteristics.
