PURPOSE:To shorten time required for loading up and down data and programs by constituting such that a peripheral equipment is connected to one interface means provided in a multiplexing unit so as to load up and down data and programs to all PCs. CONSTITUTION:The multiplexing unit 1 is provided with interfaces 5 to connect the peripheral equipment 6. Besides to that, the unit 1 is equipped with a peripheral equipment handling system 8 to deal with a request from the peripheral equipment 6. A PC specification switch 9 is provided in the multiplexing unit to select the specific PC 3 and to load up and down data. For loading up and down data and programs, the peripheral equipment 6 is connected to the newly installed interfaces 5 through the interface 7. Thus, even if data and programs are loaded up and down into plural PCs, it can be loaded up and down as if only one PC existed.
