The invention relates to a dough-cutting and circular plating machine with a device for automatically feeding dough using a dough-feeding hopper which is arranged upstream and is open or is to be opened for filling. The hopper 6 which is fixedly arranged on the dough-cutting and circular plaiting machine has, in its interior, a dough-conveying worm 7 which can be moved about its own axis and simultaneously along the inside wall of the hopper 6 and is rigidly connected to its motors 9 and 10 which are arranged on the upper edge 8 of the hopper. The dough-conveying worm 7 is supported by means of a ball-and-socket joint 11 which is arranged in the outlet region of the hopper 7. On the outer wall of the dough-feeding hopper 7 there are arranged covered conductor rails for supplying power and signals, the current collectors of the driving motors taking the form of sliding contacts. On the upper outside region of the hopper 7 there are arranged power transmission elements, which are non-positively connected to the power transmission element of a drive. The power transmission element on the upper outside region 8 of the hopper takes the form of a chain 14 and the power transmission element on the drive takes the form of a toothed wheel 15. <IMAGE>
