发明名称 DETECTION OF OBSERVATION POSITION UTILIZING ARTIFICIAL SATELLITE
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable calculation of the position of an observation point, by measuring time of a signal directly received from an artificial satellite and that of the signal received via other artificial satellites while the positions of orbits of three artificial satellites are used as determined from time information at the observation point. CONSTITUTION:As respective orbits are determined based on observation data of a tracking control station, three artificial satellites flying on the orbits are allowed to determine the positions thereof on the orbits with the specification of time. These artificial satellites each carry a signal generator, a communication device between satellites and a relay for connection to a satellite earth station. Timing signals sent directly to an observer from the three artificial satellites and timing information sent to the observer via artificial satellites mutually indicate values corresponding to a positional relationship of the three artificial satellites. Thus, a relative positional relationship between the artificial satellites is learned from a receiving timing while orbit information of the artificial satellites observed separately and time information from a time device possessed by the observer are obtained thereby enabling the determining of the position of the observer.
