The invention relates to a concentrated food for athletes which is based on cereal products and, if required, sugar, in particular glucose. This concentrated food is wholly or predominantly composed of a protein-rich cereal preparation which is digested with a protease, which remains active even in the acidic region, the final preparation having a moisture content below 5% and, if required, containing up to 50%, based on the total weight, of sugar, in particular glucose. |
