PURPOSE:To eliminate the improper operation of a disk player by containing a disk on a turntable into a tray supported to a slide body and containing the tray in a magazine before the slide body is retracted this side in the horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION:The disk is contained in the tray and the tray is contained in a disk containing magazine while being supported pivotally by the slide body. In operating a slide operating body 37 with a shift means 14 engaged with the tray supported to the slide body, a selection lever 38 depresses a switch 45, the tray is contained in the slide body while placing and containing the disk on the turntable and a cam 28c gives a pressing force to an open lever 7 for the release. Since the magazine is used in this way, the slide body is retracted without releasing the engagement between the magazine and the disk exchanger D and the disk stored in the tray is surely exchanged.
