<p>A heat resistant container (1) suitable for a ready prepared meal, which comprises a tray (2) having a bottom (4), side walls (3), a rim (5) and a removable or openable lid or cover (6), the said tray (2) being located in a recess provided in a secondary package (8), at least a substantial portion of the rim (5) thereby being supported by the portion of the body (9) of the secondary package (8) surrounding the recess, and the secondary package (8) also having a plurality of flanges (10) depending from the recess opening which bear upon the side walls (3) of the tray (2).</p> |
