PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. having excellent mechanical strength, solvent resistance and moldability, consisting of a polyphenylene ether, a polyester resin, a specified styrene copolymer and a hydrogenated block copolymer. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. in total of 90-5wt% polyphenylene ether (A) having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.15-0.70 (in CHCl3 at 30 deg.C), such as poly(2,6- dimethyl-1,4-phenylene)ether or a graft copolymer obtd. by grafting styrene thereon, and 10-95wt% polyester resin (B) such as polyethylene terephthalate is blended with 0.05-50pts.wt. styrene copolymer (C) having a styrene content of not lower than 30wt%, at least one epoxy, COOH or carboxylic ester group and a number-average MW of not lower than 2,000 and 1-50pts.wt. hydrogenated product (D) of a block copolymer composed of an arom. vinyl compd. and a conjugated diene compd.
