<p>The device comprises a bolt (3) with a head, a nut (5) and a guide cage (4) traversed by the bolt, and the head (6) of the bolt has an oblong profile which prevents the passage of the head through the hole made in the pieces to be assembled (1, 2), likewise of oblong shape, when the head occupies its locking position in which the axis of the head is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the hole. The guide cage (4) has a recess (18) for guiding the head (6) in translational motion into its locking position for assembling the pieces under the effect of the rotation of the nut (5). The fastening device is characterised in that the guide cage (4) comprises means (8, 22) which make the bolt (3) captive.
