PURPOSE:To permit formation of the greater part of capsules of relatively small particle sizes by consisting protective colloid of a mixture contg. pectin and styrene sulfonic acid polymer. CONSTITUTION:Capsulation reaction progresses within the range where the reaction pH is nearly constant according to the wall material to be formed in prepn. of the microcapsules. The emulsification stability of emulsified matter is enhanced in spite of the high state of the reaction pH and the state in which the polymerization reaction is liable to take place around the emulsified matter is created in order to effect the reaction to form the shell consisting of amino aldehyde resin in the presence of the anionic protective colloid consisting of the mixture contg. the pectin and styrene sulfonic acid polymer. The capsules having the particle size much smaller than the particle size of the capsules obtd. by the conventional method are thereby obtd. The capsules are obtd. in the state of the relatively uniformized capsule diameters in the particle size distribution of the capsules, i.e., in the state of high uniformity. |
