The anchor chain 18 or the like runs over a deflection wheel 16 which is arranged at the outer end of a pivot arm arrangement which has an extended position in which it extends outwards from the deck. The outer end has tracks 26 for receiving transverse pins 28 secured near the end of the anchor, for securing the anchor when taking it up. These tracks are elongate slots 26 which run essentially in the longitudinal direction of the pivot arm arrangement and are open towards the outer end of the latter, and in the extended position of the pivot arm arrangement they are situated under the deflection wheel 16 with the mouth located nearer the inner end of the pivot arm arrangement than the running surface of the deflection wheel for the anchor chain 18. The boundary edge of the slots nearest the wheel continues further than the running surface of the deflection wheel. The pivot arm arrangement is also arranged to be secured in an essentially upright position by a securing arrangement 32 and thus hold the anchor hanging with the pins 28 resting against the bottom of the likewise upright slots 26. <IMAGE> |
