The measurement unit comprises a support component (2) locating against the ground (M) and movable relative to the machine frame (3). A monitoring appts., (4) activatable by the support component, monitors the position of the component in relation to the frame. A component (5) transmits significant information for that position to the machine operator, and/or to an adjustment mechanism (12) for the work height or depth. - The support component is movably connected to the frame by an articulation (6) of flexible material, and consists of a runner sliding on the earth surface (M). It is formed in one piece with the articulation (6), and is of flexible material, such as plastic. Several measurement units are fitted on the tool widthways and/or one after the other. |
