PURPOSE:To allow a liquid oil to ooze out at a constant rate from the surface of a molded product of a vulcanized rubber to thereby exhibit excellent lubricity, wear resistance, sealing properties, etc., by incorporating the liquid oil in the molded product by impregnating an inorg. porous material with said liquid oil. CONSTITUTION:An inorg. porous material (e.g., SiO2-based microporous bead, diatomaceous earth) is impregnated with liquid oil (e.g., silicone oil, fluorinated oil). The oil-impregnated material is mixed with a rubber and the mixture is vulcanized and molded to prepare a molded product of a vulcanized rubber. The incorporation of the liquid oil may be conducted by impregnating the vulcanized molded product of a mixture of the rubber and the porous material in the liquid oil or spraying the oil on the surface of the molded product. The liquid oil oozes out from the molded product on the surface thereof at a constant rate so that the molded product can be used as oil seal, an O-ring, packings, etc. |
