PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of interrupting and returning operations, by a method wherein a driving circuit is controlled in accordance with the time period of a pulse, generated upon switching-over a conducting path, and the stopping time of conduction of the driving circuit. CONSTITUTION:The rotating position of a rotor 101 is detected by a position detecting means 102 such as a Hall element or the like to drive an output transistor 104 through a driving circuit 103. The time period of a pulse, generated upon switching-over a conduction path, is measured by a period measuring circuit 106 and the operation of the driving circuit 103 is stopped by the output signal of the measuring circuit 106 when the time period has become larger than a preset first period whereby the conduction of a coil 105 is interrupted. When a conduction stopping time has become larger than a preset second period, the driving circuit 103 is operated automatically whereby the coil 105 is conducted again. |
