PURPOSE:To improve the riding comfort, controllability and stability of a vehicle by closing the shut-off value of one of hydraulic coupling means used for an outer wheel when making a turn based on a steering angle, when both the vehicle speed and a steering angle of the device stated in the above title exceed the set value. CONSTITUTION:When the vehicle speed detected by a vehicle speed detecting device M2 exceeds the set vehicle speed and when a steering angle detected by a steering angle detecting device M3 exceeds the set value, a controlling device M4 closes the shut-off valve of one of coupling means M1 used for an outer wheel when making a turn based on the steering angle. By this action, the volume of the fluid in a cylinder is maintained at a fixed volume. Therefore, entry of a piston rod into the cylinder is restrained and the space between the an unsprung member and the coupling part of a stabilizer bar mounting portion is maintained more than the space when the shut-off valve is switched to 'close'. By this, the restoring force is originated on one of the stabilizer bars so as to improve the stability. |
