PURPOSE:To lower the gloss of a thermoplastic resin without detriment to the characteristics inherent to the thermoplastic resin, by blending a thermoplastic resin with a specified rubbery copolymer. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. thermoplastic resin (A) is blended with 0.1-30pts.wt. rubbery copolymer (B) and/or rubbery copolymer (C). Copolymer, (B) is a rubbery copolymer composed of a monomer contg. 0.1-20wt% mono- or diacid having a polymerizable vinyl group or its anhydride. Copolymer (C) is a rubbery copolymer composed of a monomer contg. 0.1-20wt% nitrogen-contg. heterocyclic compd. having a polymerizable vinyl group. As the mono- or diacid having a polymerizable vinyl group or its anhydride, at least one acid selected from the group consisting of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, itaconic acid, maleic acid and fumaric acid is preferred. As the nitrogen-contg. heterocyclic compd. having a polymerizable vinyl group, 2- and/or 3- and/or 4-vinylpyridine are/is preferred. |
