<p>PURPOSE:To permit a necessary output to be obtained upon low-speed operation, high-speed operation and high-voltage load supplying, by connecting an auxiliary coil in series to a main coil and employing the auxiliary coil upon the high voltage load. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary coil 1-2 is connected in series to the main coil 1-1 of an alternator. When an electric power is supplied to a battery only, a switch SW-1 turned ON is and the output of the main coil 1-1 is supplied through a rectifier 2. When the power is supplied to only a DC high-voltage load, the switches SW-2, SW-3 are ON to supply the outputs of the main coil 1-1 and the auxiliary coil 1-2 through the rectifier 11 and increase an output voltage. when the power is supplied to the battery 9 and the DC high-voltage load, the switches SW-1, SW-3 are turned ON. In this case, a regulator 4 controls an exciting current in accordance with the voltage of the battery 9.</p> |
